Welcome 2017
It is hard to believe that we are already in the middle of January. It is said that time waits for no man, and that seems truer the older I get.
The past couple of years seem to have borne recurring themes in my life and ministry. 2015 can best be described as barren. Many days involved just putting one foot in front of the other and trusting that faithfulness and fortitude would sustain me. In contrast, what an amazing year 2016 proved to be. It was full of productive ministry and reflection as well as treasured moments with family and friends in Africa and the USA.
As 2017 looms ahead I find myself expectant. Though I am uncertain of what the new year holds, I anticipate its opportunities to live out God’s purpose in my life and ministry. I pray for wisdom and strength for each task and joy for the journey.

TWMS4
The new year found us in the USA for The World Mission Summit 4, sponsored by Chi Alpha and AGWM. The event was attended by approximately 6000 college students and missionaries from around the world. The event offered comprehensive and interactive approaches to sharing the needs of missions and included meals with missionaries and exhibits from all regions of the world. The challenge for attendees was to “give a year and pray about a lifetime.” Our prayer is that God would continue to raise up a generation that would help reap the harvest of souls across each continent.

SoCal Team
A leadership team from the Southern California Network of the Assemblies of God USA, along with Area Director Randy Tarr, came to Liberia to assess our need for strategic partnership in our church planting and clean water initiatives. It was a pleasure to introduce them to our national church leadership team and to share with them some of our current ministry projects. The AGL executives share morning devotions with the group.
